Super Surgery: Top 5 Cosmetic Procedures For Women
$BlogItemUrl$> |
If you’re a woman considering a sexy new look, you might be thinking in terms of cosmetic surgery. Here is an overview of the five hottest procedures for women: 1. Liposuction Surgery Sporting bulges in all the wrong places can really hurt your confidence. Liposuction surgery is an affordable, easy way to blast fat from your thighs, bum, and belly. Essentially, the surgeon inserts a straw-like cannula into designated target areas and agitates the fat cells. The attached suction device removes the loose cells expediently and effectively. Ideal candidates for liposuction surgery are in good physical health and have tried to lose the excess fat by way of exercise and diet. Patients who are seriously overweight are not considered for liposuction surgery if you not sure consult your cosmetic surgery clinic. 2. Breast Reduction Surgery Carrying two huge sandbags around on your chest can cause an infinite amount of back and neck pain. Breast reduction surgery not only relieves muscle strain, but it also puts your body back into proportion. Huge breasts on a tiny frame attract all the wrong kinds of attention, hindering your efforts to find love. Furthermore, large breasts can restrict your range of motion, making sports difficult to practice. Breast reduction surgery is becoming less invasive and less costly. It is well worth a second look if you feel that your mammoth-sized assets are compromising your health. 3. Boob Jobs Breast implants are becoming safer every year. If you’ve always felt unhappy with your chest region, your self-esteem might have hit rock bottom. Breast implants can certainly help with your confidence! Prior implant recipients claim to feel sexier, happier, and more comfortable in skimpy clothing. Breast implants come in two varieties: saline and silicone. There are costs and benefits associated with each specific type of implant, so be sure to collaborate openly with your surgical team and conduct your own research. Be a good advocate for your health and stay informed! 4. Rhinoplasty Rhinoplasty, or nose plastic surgery as it’s more commonly known, is the perfect remedy for a nose gone awry. During rhinoplasty, the surgeon creates a small incision, either inside the nose or between the nostrils, to expose the surgical site. Then, the underlying bone can be filed down or broken and reset as necessary. Finally, the surgeon recovers the nose with skin, sutures the wound, and inserts a splint to hold the nose firmly in its new orientation. The rhinoplasty procedure is not as uncomfortable as it sounds, and many patients resume normal activities within several days. 5. Facelifts Facelifts can be an uplifting type of surgery for women between the ages of 40 and 70. During this period, fat begins to descend toward the jowls, giving the face a saggy appearance. Facelifts do not eliminate wrinkles, but they do tighten up the underlying facial muscles and rejuvenate the face. Empirical research suggests that facelifts shave at least a decade off the visage. If you’re looking to find a new man or look better for the one you have, find out what a facelift can offer you! The above procedures are becoming increasingly popular, safe, and affordable for women who are unhappy with some aspect of their appearance. If you are interested in some surgical help, contact a reputable surgeon to receive more information. |

9 Simple Tips to Help Defy Aging
$BlogItemUrl$> |
Whether you're in your 30s or your 60s+, here are some hints and tips to help you keep every decade as healthy as possible, so that like wine and cheese you actually improve with age. Banish the idea that there's nothing good about getting older, and make each decade a good and positive one! Here are some tips and advice, some of which you already know about, and some you possibly hadn't thought of before. 30s/40s. 1. Don't overdo the sunbathing! Not only can it lead to serious skin damage, but if you want to live healthily in to your 60s and over, then you want to keep your appearance as fresh as possible, and excessive exposure to the sun's harmful rays will inevitably lead to wrinkles and dry skin. So always use a sunscreen. 2. Stopping smoking can cut your risk of dying from smoking-related illness by 90%+, according to the US National Cancel Institute. 3. Start taking vitamin supplements, because it's now that a race begins between the rate bone is broken down and new bone is formed, so in addition to your careful exposure to the sun's rays, follow a diet with plenty calcium to help keep your bones in trim, and start taking a supplement of Vitamin D. Keep those G & Ts, or glasses of red wine to a moderate, sensible level. Do some regular form of exercise, to reduce the risk of heart disease. Join a dancing class, or a walking group - your exercise doesn't have to be gym-based! 4. Lose weight. It will help you to look better, feel better, and it will cut the risk of all sorts of possible health problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure and cancer. It needn't be a hard-to-maintain diet plan - there are many perfectly safe products available now to help you. Keep your Body Mass Index within safe limits (some pharmacies will measure this for you, as will most Practice Centre/surgery nurses, keep up your regular exercising. Ask your GP, or try one of the safe, natural products. They do work. 5. And if you didn't have this one done when you were younger - have your teeth straightened and/or whitened, now a routine procedure for those in their 30s & 40s, and you'll not only smile much more, which will make you feel much more upbeat, but it'll make a huge difference to how you look. 50s: 6. Now here's a surprise for you. Carry on enjoying that glass of red wine for its heart-protective benefits, of course, but if you've decided to become teetotal, US researchers have discovered that 70% chocolate contains flavonoids which are just as beneficial. But remember - moderation in all things! Start planning now if you're to retire in your 60s. Look at new leisure activities such as hobbies or interests you haven't had time for up till now, try new-style holidays - they needn't be expensive cruises, or anything too "cool" like bungee jumping courses, but perhaps join groups with similar interests, or visit places you'd previously never even considered. If you've never had the time, or the inclination, to enjoy reading good books, then think about joining the local library. Try going to some concerts and performances you've never had the time, or the interest in, before - you won't enjoy them all, but at least you're setting up the selection process for your retirement programme. 60s+: 7. Now you should be doing some of the things you want to do rather than the things you've had to do. So if you want to sit down in the afternoon and have a siesta, sit down and have a siesta. If you feel like having a day "chilling out", then have such a day. You've earned it. Relax over as many cups of coffee as you like, and actually savour and enjoy the aroma and flavour. Researchers in France have found that those of 65 and over who drank 3 or more coffees a day did far better in memory tests than those who had only one cup, or didn't drink any coffee at all. Keep up your regular exercise and even if you're not able to do all the things you used to, don't succumb to the idea that you're too old. 8. Remember, age is only a number, and the purpose of this article is to remind you of that -keep an active mind, enjoy the company and stimulation of children and young adults (they'll keep you "up to speed" with all the jargon, all the latest gadgets, and bedazzle you with their dexterity and knowledge of technology). Take vitamin and mineral supplements but be careful where you buy them, and read the labels carefully to see the actual percentages. Similarly, get used to using natural, alternative products to help keep your mind and body healthy. 9. And now that you no longer have to cope with the stress-related problems of the daily grind, now that you've left the negative comments and criticisms of the workplace behind, you'll be amazed at how easy it is to separate out concern from worry and how your emotional well-being will improve. US researchers have found that the longer you live, the happier you're likely to be, because you've been there, done it, got the t-shirt! |

Common Causes of Age Spots and How to Deal With Them
$BlogItemUrl$> |
Age spots are blemishes on the skin that are associated with aging. As we get older our skin begins to sag and become dry. Also known as liver spots, they are very unattractive on the skin. No one likes to get them and there is enough to worry about when you're aging. Unfortunately there's no way to prevent aging altogether. This is a process that everyone goes through and which we just have to learn to deal with. However, while there is no magic potion to prevent them, there are more than enough treatments that can help to get rid of age spots and renew your youthful skin. Causes The first step is to understand exactly what it is that causes these spots. This way you can do everything you can to prevent them in the first place. While aging is a process that's undeniable, you can be lucky enough to avoid aging spots if you know how. Age spots are mainly caused by age. However, ultraviolet light is another main perpetrator in this case. When the skin has an overexposure to ultraviolet light, this accelerates the production of melanin in the skin. As a result, the skin turns darker in certain areas, and these are what are known as age spots. These spots develop when extra melanin in the skin is left in clumps due to a higher concentration than normal. No one likes having them and no one likes looking at them. Treatment One of the best ways to deal with these spots is to try a skin bleaching treatment. This is similar to the bleaching creams you would use to dye your hair or eyebrows. Skin bleaching can be incredibly effective at getting rid of those awful age spots. It may take a few treatments but you will definitely notice a difference. It's usually safest to go to a dermatologist for this treatment rather than attempting it on your own. Bleach is a dangerous enough chemical agent to start with and if you're dealing with age spots on your face it could be really unsafe. There are other ways to deal with these spots as well. Chemical peels are often helpful in getting rid of age spots for once and for all. Chemical peels can help with age spots but also with wrinkles, sun damage and even mild scarring. Before going in for a chemical peel to treat your age spots, it's important to stop taking certain drugs. Your doctor can advise you of which you need to stop taking, as these could interfere with the chemicals used in this procedure. This is an outpatient procedure so it's not that serious and you can leave the same day. The procedure really isn't all that painful. You'll feel a somewhat hot sensation on your feel as you're having the chemical peel and it will be over before you know it. Most patients report a dramatic difference in the look of their age spots after having this procedure. These methods can be rather costly. If you don't have the funds to go forth with these sorts of treatments for your age spots, the best thing you can do is use some of the more affordable skin care products. When shopping around, don't feel overwhelmed by the thousands of products you see staring back at you from off the shelves. Make sure you read through the list of ingredients and check for Acai oil and caffeine. These are two of the best active ingredients for treating age spots. Some people do everything they can to deal with aging spots and don't see any difference. Whether you're able to completely get rid of those annoying age spots or not, it's still crucial that you work to take care of your skin so you can prevent getting any more in the future. |

How to - Anti-Aging
$BlogItemUrl$> |
Aging is a process that humans cannot really control but are constantly fighting against, dedicating arduous studies to slow it down. Getting older is not necessarily perceived as a bad thing but we often equate it to stepping closer and closer to death. People instinctively fight aging because life is what we've come to know and explore; it is something that we can handle some way or another while death approaching equals loss of control and the unknown. It is not only physical aging that we need to worry about but also social and mental aging, which rarely coincide with each other. Biological aging means getting weaker, experiencing stronger and longer lasting pains in the body; having weaker bones; skin getting thinner, drier and fat appearing in specific places. The body is more susceptible to disease and our brain functions decrease and memory is affected. Nature tells us that our body is no longer capable of counteracting outside aggressions and the reproductive system no longer functions. For women it is menopause while men experience infertility. Mentally we can no longer achieve the same results even though we increase our efforts. We tend to seek quieter places and we retreat among those of our own age, who experience different problems of aging. Memory is affected the most, which is why it is most important to learn and acquire as much information as possible when young. Our practical skills are also affected because of lack of proper coordination. In other cases serious disease appear, like Alzheimer or Parkinson. Some diseases are genetically transmitted and are impossible to avoid or cure but for those that can be prevented by a consistently healthy life throughout the years, there are diets and physical exercises that prolong youth as long as possible. To slow down aging, the solution needs to be addressed at a cellular level. Our system is able to renew cells. Telomeres are responsible for that and they shorten once cells are restored. That happens through enzymes but as time passes the power to restore is overwhelmed by the damage. Our main enemies come from the outside and are called free radicals, caused by stress, pollution, UV radiations and tobacco among other things. What free radicals consist of is bad molecules of oxygen in the body. These free radicals destroy DNA and proteins, so as when the cells regenerate they turn out imperfect and can't perform the function they were designed for . Because free radicals oxidize the body needs to counteract with antioxidants, which are said to have a paramount role in anti aging. The most common are Vitamin C, Vitamin E, flavonoids, selenium, carotenoids and, lately, Coenzyme Q10. As we are not able to always include vegetables and fruits in our daily diet, it is advisable to take antioxidant supplements that complete the meals but do not replace it. As far as food is concerned, we should avoid phyto inflammatory products and choose neutral or anti inflammatory ones like fruits and vegetables that are richly colored. Our immune system should also be the focus as it is one of the main sources of early aging. Overall, one should have a plan about how to keep healthy and extend life. First of all, you should have regular consults with your doctor; second of all, eating healthy should be followed by daily exercise; third of all, a healthy mind automatically leads to a healthy lifestyle. We should be consistent in our diet and try to prevent rather than cure, because it might be too late to do it. |

Resveratrol's Anti-Aging Benefits - A Review of This Powerful Fruit Extract
$BlogItemUrl$> |
With all the recent coverage in the media about resveratrol, you might be a little doubtful about taking the plant-based nutrient as a part of your supplementary diet. It is plausible to miss some of the proven benefits that resveratrol has to offer with the way it is spun by the media these days. For people that remain uncertain of what resveratrol is, this should be a good summary about this dietary supplement that continues to find worldwide attention on an everyday basis. Resveratrol is also known as phytoalexin, a chemical substance thought to have many favorable effects on people and animals alike. At the moment, it is principally used as a defense against pathogenic microbes in plants. Resveratrol is most usually found in a selection of foods and drink that are often consumed on a day-to-day basis. Food items like peanut butter are quite well known to contain resveratrol and common everyday drinks like wine also contain the amazing nutrient. Resveratrol can also be found in wild berries but is most usually found in the roots, vines and stalks of plant life. Probably the simplest way to introduce resveratrol into your diet is through one of many dietary supplements available. Supplements offer an easier way to take in the balance of nutriments that resveratrol provides without it being necessary to eat massive amounts of the right sorts of food, particularly in certain cases where the key nutrient is really a plant extract. One major advantage of taking resveratrol as a diet supplement is knowing precisely what proportion of the nutrient you are consuming. This is far more hard to track when attempting to take the required amount of resveratrol required to supply any kind of benefit. For one, resveratrol is assumed to help to reduce the potential hazardous impact to coronaries and for other cardio illnesses. It's also thought to have a positive impact on diabetes, but those studies are still ongoing. In fact, making an attempt to gain the advantages of resveratrol from food or drink intake alone is might be awfully troublesome. To consume enough resveratrol by drinking wine, as an example, an individual would need to drink multiple bottles of wine on any given day. Not only would this be impossible for the body to tolerate, but the damaging effect that alcohol consumption would have on the liver would turn out to be life-threatening. If you're taking resveratrol for its many health benefits, you could benefit from finding a good dietary supplement packed with resveratrol extract. Resveratrol is an excellent anti-aging support supplement. |
